To celebrate Jesi as the European city of Sport 2014, an event was held in the sala del Lampadario, Jesi (Iesi, inland from Ancona on the Adriatic coast) October, 2014. Those who gave presentations were: Gianni Clerici, Alessandro Tosi, Alessandra Castellani Torta, Ugo Bazzotti, Egizio Trombetta and Franco Alciati.
